Well I know that I did not (unless I accidently erased it) receive the first email from them with my first referral but got my others thus far (the last number of the code they send out just goes up in numerical order, or at least mine did, and the first I saw was 2 then I got 3 so I did the same code with 1 and it worked)

Good catch. I only received one email so far, but I tested out your theory to see if there were others out there where I just didn't get the email. When I changed the 1 to a 2 it told me the code was invalid, so I'm not missing any emails. However, this is a great way to catch if any don't come through. I know if my next email code ends in a 3 that I missed one, so I should go back and try to add the code with a 2 at that time.

I would like to know if you know of a better way to receive those buddy discounts for the next nutrisystem order.....I have had no luck so far!!! It's driving me nuts knowing that I can save money!! Do you think ebay works? I saw that someone had the buddy coupon listed for 1 cent. Is this allowed?

You mean is there a better way of sending out the coupons or is there a better way of receiving coupons? And are you trying to get one? In a previous post you said you already ordered your food, so you couldn't get another coupon for next month... just trying to clear up what you are asking

I think instead of posting those like that, if you see someone post an email address you should send the code to them because once they are used they don't work anymore.

If anyone uses a code from the above post until then, post a message with which code you used so that others will know not to try to use that code.

I'm in the same situation as the previous poster who isn't getting the $30 referral discount email. I know of several people who definitely signed up using my buddy code, yet I've only had one email come through from Nutrisystem with my $30 coupon.

Now I have done the inventory and things don't seem right.
I received:
6 snacks + melba toast
32 dinners
37 breakfast (5 choc. chip pancake)
29 desserts
31 lunches

on my packaging slip it reads 1 free week of food....? Does that come later? If not, I should have 35 of each item....right?

Hmmmm, I am still confused about buddy coupons.... How can you list the codes like that?

snacks = desserts, so you got the correct 35 of them.
the rest of your order seems pretty messed up!

i also got my box today. i had the correct amounts of everything. my "free week" selection wasn't what i would have chosen, but only one thing that i seriously don't like (eggs for breakfast...i don't eat eggs). i hate ALL foods with anything creamy on them and i expected a bunch of the selections with creamy sauces, but they sent none of them i'm just disappointed that they sent me THREE "bars" as lunch selections. seriously, who the heck considers a bar to be a LUNCH?!!!

I decided a LATE lunch was a good time to use one of those three lunch bars they sent me, since I'd only have to go a few hours on it before dinner. I ate the Chocolate Graham Bar. I certainly wouldn't consider it a "meal," but it was DELICIOUS!!! If it was a dessert choice, I'd order a ton of them!

Yes, seems to be a lot of fruits, veggies, proteins, etc. that can be added. No way to go hungry on this thing.

Haha, you guys crack me up about the "food bars" for lunches. I thought exactly the same thing when I saw the bars that I did not order (they were part of the free week of goods") bars = gross and not my idea of a lunch. I have not tried them yet, but I will since we waste enough food around here and they certainly don't give this NS stuff away. I like the soups for lunches - to me soup goes better with a salad than a food bar does. I have yet to try the pea soup (something I would have never bought in the first place), however the Minestrone w/ beef was good and the Beans and Ham soup was awesome.

I do have to say that I am looking forward to actually seeing the progress as in smaller clothes sizes rather than just #'s of pounds lost on a scale, KWIM?

I already wear 0s and 2s, but I'm looking forward to actually eating a well-balanced diet. I eat like crap most of the time and, at 37 years old, I can't afford to keep eating this way. My dad had a heart attack at 45 and both of my grandfathers were 50. Despite my low weight, I'm at a seriously high risk for health problems if I continue to eat fast food, friedd food, etc.

I think it is wonderful that you are doing something about the poor choices you have made with eating and you are wise enough to see the effects it has had on others in your family...
