no free turkeys here in Fla... unless I missed something. In fact the cheapest turkey sale I can find is Winn Dixie for .79 lb. This is higher than a few years back.

Back in the day, there was no limit. I used to get a few turkeys, and donate them. Now I just get one.

Raley's Bel Air (local chain) has them in today's flyer for 50 cents a pound. Safeway has them for 99 cents a pound.
We tend to pick up our Thanksgiving stuff a little bit at a time in the 2 months prior. And since we switched the majority of our grocery shopping to Walmart, we rarely buy $100 of groceries anymore.
Rumor has it, they are opening a WinCo in the old Country Club (Weinstocks side) early next year. Might be a little cheaper than WalMart
