So anyone know what is going on with Ridemax? I sat down to start looking at plans for 8/19 and it's not posted past the 18th. Then I go to find the Sunday from the week before that and there are no Sundays listed for any of the dates. What's up with all of this? Ridemax came highly recommended and so far I haven't been able to do any custom plans. Boo. I can be patient, but next week while my daughter is at afternoon camp, I wanted to create and become familiar with our trip plans.

Its been a while since I used ridemax but I 'm fairly certain they don 't do Sundays. I believe it says so somewhere in the program website for "family day " I think it recommends that you use Sat for planning, as Sat and Sun are similar.

Ridemax is a family owned business and they did make a decision not to gather data for Sundays. You use Saturday's data, which I have done and it worked perfectly fine. I think that information is on their website.

As far as the dates available, they can only release dates after Disney releases theirs. Disneyland is notoriously bad for releasing their dates. It is July 14 and Disneyland doesn't even have any September dates posted! Anyway, once DL release dates, RM has to crunch the numbers and update the software. They will release those dates as soon as they are comfortable with the data. You should make your plans as close as possible to your arrival date anyway, so just play with some Saturday dates. Have fun! :goodvibes

They do not do Sundays. Use the Saturday the day before. It worked great for us!

It can be so frustrating when your dates aren't available, especially those of us who like to plan in advance. From experience, I can tell you that while you can get a general idea of a schedule ahead of time, it really is best to run the plans again right before you go. They constantly update the information, and especially with Carsland, you want the most accurate data possible to minimize your wait.

We're big Ridemax believers, but I certainly had my frustrations with not being able to plan as far in advance as I'd like. It will be worth it in the end, though!

It is frustrating not to be able to make your plan far ahead however I think RideMax is more accurate because they are constantly updating it.

I hope you are all right. I personally think it's a bit ridiculous to create a tour program, and not include Sundays...don't care what your beliefs are...but that's just mho. I still couldn't get it to work as of last night. I put in the Sat of the week before and it just sits there saying it's creating a plan. We want to go to DL on 8/19 and 8/21.

if they didn't make it VERY obvious that they don't do Sunday's, I would agree with you. However, one of the first things I noticed before buying it was the warning: we don't do Sunday info.

They seem to be doing just fine without it, and everyone is in agreement that Saturday works just fine as what you can use instead.

Like everyone said, using Saturdays works pretty well the same. If you can't get the dates you want to work yet, use similar dates that are in the system - ie: a Saturday and Sunday in late July. The data will be very similar. If the issue is the software itself, contact the company - that's a tech support issue, not a problem with how the program works (when working).

Another thing though is that it really is best to finalize your plans closer to the date. I made all my plans a couple weeks ago, so about 2-3 weeks out from my dates. I re-input everything today (same parks, same times, same scheduled breaks, same rides) and the data was different because the closer it is, the more accurate they can be. For example on our first day we're doing rope drop at DL and plan to be there until the end of the day, with breaks included of course. In my original plan it told me I would be doing a total of 144 minutes of waiting in line and 90 minutes of walking. For the plans I did today, 1 week out from our trip, I input the exact same times, break times, attractions, everything set up the same way - and it is now only 98 minutes of waiting and 39 minutes of walking. More accurate, I guess they err on the side of caution when it's further out.

If I hadn't re-run my plan I would have been way ahead of schedule, which isn't a bad thing but it would have thrown me off and given us a lot of "uhhh what should we do now?" moments, which is what you want to avoid when you make a plan anyways! :)
