No Star Wars Weekend This Year!

HI! According to "All Ear's" Deb Willis's weekly E-zine "Lucasfilms and Disney recently announced that Star Wars Weekends will not be held at the Disney-MGM Studios this May! Instead, Lucasfilms is directing its energies to its own Celebration II event to herald the release of the new Star Wars movie, due out May 16. According to various Disney sources, there will be increased Star Wars character activity in the Disney-MGM Studios the weekend of the new film's release, as well as limited release pins to commemorate the event. Full-fledged Star Wars Weekends may resume in 2003."
