I called last night to book a reservation for new years eve I figured because we're more than three weeks away I'd be safe. When I called they said that they were completely booked for that day. Does any one have any advise?

I imagine that you want to be near the park of your choice that evening.......and sometimes they are filled to capacity.......do you think that if you went to the The Sunshine Seasons in the Land at Epcot and stayed in that park......you would be there and even though its a counter service place the food is very good and alot of choices too......

Not really a suprise since ADRs can be made 6 months or more in advance, and many people do just that. We don't travel during the busy times, but my guess is that you will have to go off property if you want a sit down meal.

A bunch of dining places opened up an extra hour of reservation time for the holiday time. Try 1900 pf. or C mickeys or Many other places from 4-5pm I got 4 new res !:cool1: Good luck!

That's funny - I just called yesterday around noon for NYE and was told Boatwright's, Boma, Cape May, Maya Grill, Olivia's, Ragland Rd., Turf Club all had openings. I got a 7:45pm at Raglan Rd.

Are you looking only for a restaurant in a park? You may need to look at the resorts. Either way, I'd call again.

Call and get someone else. What's left is the garbage but at least you'll eat.

Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance and even popular restaurants get booked quickly, nevermind a holiday. Try to see if you could get something at a resort, the resorts are just as lovely.

"Safe at 3 weeks out"- Not even during the least crowded periods! We made our reservations in August for our NYE trip and still had to switch times and do 2 tables, etc. ie., we got Le Cellier, but at 4:30pm. We snagged an Illuminations cruise for Jan. 5th, but I got through at 6:59am 90 days out and went through the prompts as fast a possible and we got the last available boat, (Breathless), all the pontoon boats were gone in less than 30 seconds! People are crazy with making reservations and the DDP has made it worse!
