Anyone out there know answers to Group/Grand Gathering Stuff ???
They offer "Special" Events such as, after hours Safari and Dinner, or Reception and Illuminations Viewing on Boat etc.....
My Question is:
We have the Dining Plan, Are We Able to Use a Dining Credit to Pay For these Group Gathering Events ??????
Does AnyOne Know ???
I cannot find any information on the Disneyworld Web Site....
Any Help Please

I recently came back from a Magical Gathering in Disney and we participated in the the Safari Celebration and you are able to use your dining plan. The Safari Celebration counts as two counter service meals, but I am not sure about the other activities. I hope this helps a little! Have a great trip!

We too are doing the dining plan and GG. The only GG event we have is the Wishes fireworks cruise. We had to pay for that out of pocket ahead of time. The DDP didn't count. One thing i did learn, if you call the GG phone number you don't have all the computer dialogue to muddle through or listen to 6+ repeats of the POTC song. I was connected immediately to a real live person! I bring this up, as an alternative resource for your answers. BTW, we didn't have much luck finding GG event info either. We just called and asked what we wanted to know.

The "Perks" don't seem that great of deal.
To pay out of pocket would be expensive, especially since we already have the DDP.
I agree, not a whole lotta data out here to read up on it!
BUT THANKS SO MUCH !!!!! For responding, I love to hear 1st hand from others who have experienced this !! It truly helps !!

I would suggest asking your resort questions on the resort board and dining questions on the restaurants board here on the DIS. You will get more answers than on the Welcome board.
