I got invited to go on a 3 day Wonder cruise. I don't have interest in either Catalina or Ensenada. Do the on board activities pretty much shut down when at a port?

There will be some activities in ports, including trivia, arts and crafts (usually geared to kids but open to everyone), movies in the theater and on Funnel Vision on the pool deck, and character meets. The spa and pools will be open but the shops will be closed.

This is a good summary. We usually stay on the ship in Nassau and often in Cozumel and there is plenty to stay busy— sometimes when we do go ashore I’ll find things in the app I regret missing (typically trivia).

No. There may be less activities than on a sea day because they expect people to go ashore, but activities won't shut down and there will still be plenty to do. As noted, the shops will be closed while in port and some of the bars/lounges may have shorter hours, but there will definitely still be activities to do onboard.

Not a lot of activities, but it's a nice time if you want to do quieter things like read or have a coffee or watch a movie.
You might be able to look at a Navigator posted somewhere (Disney cruise blog maybe?). There are discounted spa services while in port.

I had the same question regarding the TCM cruise. I've already been to Ensanda and Catalina and there's nothing that I want to do in either location. I still might get off the ship, just because I have ants in my pants when I'm on vacation, but if there would be onboard activities, I'd rather do that. Anyhow, someone shared the Navigator from last year and the only things happening onboard were the movies in the theater and Funnel vision. I think there was a trivia listed. Of course, that was for a chartered cruise and the activities are different.
