No problem getting ADRs for next week

I called Disny Dining yesterday to add a few last minute ADRs for my trip next week and had no issue getting exactly what I wanted at the times I wanted

I added

Tuesday Aug 29th
Chefs de France
12pm
Party of 4

Wednesday Aug 30th
San Angel Inn
6:30pm
Party of 2

and

Thursday August 31st
Chefs de France
6:30pm
Party of 4

I just thought it was interesting with ll the worry of no available spaces during Free Dining that I was able to get exacly what I wanted 9 days prior to my vacation

That's why I think Chefs de France will wind up being in the plan in 2007. Even with dining it's an easy reservation to get.

I had trouble getting ADR there for 9/29, but it's the first day of Wine & Food, plus the ressie is for 9 people.... but we did get a late one.

The start of free dining is not the worst time, the end is, so that will depend a great deal on which week you go.

I have been calling every day trying to get LC for Oct 2nd. No cheese soup for me. I checked other dates too. But so far I have nothing for Oct 1st and 2nd. Well nothing I want... I made ADR's way back and have changed some plans for when I will be in each park...

We do not have hoppers so we are limited to one park or resorts- it may be less of a problem if you are able to go anywhere... but the last week of dining overlaps the F&WF and MNSSHP and there is a long weekend just after it...busy busy busy.

I booked LC 2 months ago and had to try 3 different days in late September before I could get one........... Hard place to get ADR because it's so small and very good.

I think that with F&WF and MNSSHP, the end of Free Dining will most likely be hardest for getting ADR's as well as having some of the biggest crowds of Free Dining. My guess is the beginning is also busier because there are still quite a few families there for end-of-summer vacations.
