No Peeps

Aw I liked peeps, but only certain shapes were good. I found the bunny shaped ones tended to be stale.
Stale is the best way to eat them. Though I only get them every 2 - 3 years.

A couple years ago I bought a some, took them out of the packaging and left them exposed to get stale, they were ALMOST perfect and then it rained and they went back to being soft again.

Peeps are more a state of mind than something anybody really enjoys eating. :goodvibes I can't remember an Easter season in my entire life that didn't involve a package of Peeps in there somewhere. If they're not available yet by next spring, I will be sad. :sad1:

stale......wife had a mason jar full of peeps, because they were yellow and blended in with her theme of yellow dinner ware in her hutch.....though she was kind to animals....so I am thinking that she thought after the apocalypse the cockroaches would need something to eat....like in the movie Wall-E....was researching to see if they were in the film.....wow.....the art that folks do with peeps.....another folk art business hits the covid dust.

Wow, I just threw out a bunch a few weeks ago. We buy the flavored ones then have a contest to see who can properly identify the flavors. I had all the leftovers and just finally tossed them.

Maybe you Peeps peeps can still find some leftovers from previous months. I remember Peeps used to be Easter-only, just as Candy Corn was Halloween only. Now you can get both of these sweets during any holiday. I wish they called the Halloween ones "EEPS!"
