More Downtown Disney Fun!
Thursday, 11/15
Hi guys! Sorry it's been so long again since I've updated! I want to finish this up, but at the same time, I don't, because I won't have anything to do on the DIS! I can't start a PTR for my December trip because, honestly, I don't even know if that trip is happening right now. I'm keeping my hopes up though, but it really depends on a LOT of things. If anything, I might have to shorten it to a long weekend trip, but at this point, as long as I'm in Disney, I don't care! It's just killing me not knowing if we're going or not! I'm tempted to take down my ticker, but I feel like having it there is sending out a positive message to the Disney Gods or something, haha!

I'll keep you guys updated!
Anyway, on to the update! (Wow, I can't believe it's August and this November TR is still going!)
We kind of slept in this morning, haha...as much as I will allow us to sleep in when we're at Disney! We got up around 8:00 and went to Riverside Mill for breakfast. Brandon and I both got omelets, but I only took a picture of mine, since he gets weird things in his omelets, and I only get yummy cheddar and ham!
It was pretty good, I'm not a big fan of those potatoes though, you would think a place like Disney would know how to make decent home fries (or hash browns, whatever you like to call them!) but I'm guessing these are pre-made and they get them by the ton, haha?
When we were finished, we hopped in the car and were off to Downtown Disney again! I know we were just there the night before, but there were a few things I had to buy, and we didn't have any other time to go back!
We started at my favorite store in all of Disney World, the Days of Christmas!
I could LIVE in this store! Seriously, the CM's who get the privilege to work here must be the happiest people alive, because if I got to work there, I don't know how I could live with myself, knowing I have the best job on EARTH!!! Disney and Christmas, my 2 favorite things in life, and to be surrounded by that for your JOB must be amazing!
Since I browsed the night before, I didn't have to wander around before I found what I wanted, this perfect ornament:
I love it because it has classic Disney characters, the Castle, Mickey balloons, and the MONORAIL!!! It's one of my favorite ornaments ever! I think I say that every year, about whatever ornament I end up buying, but it's true, I do love this one a bit more than others!
I thought I bought a few other ones, but maybe not! Did I show ornament restraint on this trip or something, lol?
When we left the Christmas store, we went in another favorite of mine, the Art of Disney! Luckily, Brandon loves this store too so I didn't have to hear any grumbling from him! Everything is just SO nice in there, I wish I was a millionaire so I could buy it all! Disney art in every inch of my house!
I know I was really tempted to buy one of these
but for some reason I didn't, and looking at them now, I wish I did! How cute are they, especially the one with the seasons? Adorable!
I loved this, because I'm obsessed with the fairies from Sleeping Beauty
but it was really, really expensive! And then Brandon showed me this, and I just about had a heart attack, because hello, Nightmare Before Christmas is one of the best movies ever, and Jack Skellington is basically ignored in WDW (of course, this year, he and Sally will be doing meet and greets at
MNSSHP and I can't believe I can't do MNSSHP this year!!!!

)
Awesome, right? Jack Skellington is so amazing!
We left the art store without buying anything, somehow, and we went into Goofy's for a minute, because I wanted some chocolate.
OMG everything in there looks SO good!
The apples that are covered with all of that candy and caramel and whatever else they slather on there always look SO good to me, but then I remember, oh yeah, there's an apple underneath, so that kind of makes me NOT buy one! I'd like to try one someday, but I feel like I'd be disappointed! They're really pretty, though, and yummy looking!
I was contemplating buying a cake pop, but I couldn't decide if I really wanted one or not (I know, life or death here, right?

) and we left without me buying anything.
We then went into World of Disney, and I bought a few things, including this guy
a tiny little Perry the Platypus. I love Perry, I have 3 stuffed Perry's in various sizes, I've been meaning to put the small one in my car, but I always forget! He's just so cute!
We made a quick stop into Basin, because I love that store, even though I hardly ever buy anything (although now that I've discovered the joy of their shampoo and conditioner, and bath bombs, that will change on my next trip!) I have to go in just to drool over it all!
I liked how they had Christmasy displays even in Basin in mid November, I love how Disney is just immersed in Christmas no matter where you go!
We were getting ready to leave Downtown Disney and go back to POR, but then we decided we had to go to Earl of Sandwich one last time! I wanted to get another Holiday Sandwich but I thought that might be a little crazy, since I just had one the night before, so I tried something new, The Original.
It's just roast beef, cheddar and horseradish sauce. It sounds good, but it was kind of meh, to be honest. I've never felt that way about an EoS sandwich, so it was surprising that I didn't love it, the roast beef just wasn't that great! At least now I know to stick with the Holiday Sandwich or the tuna melt!
Once we finished our sandwiches, I decided that I did, in fact, need a cake pop before we left, so it was back to Goofy's for a minute! I took it to go rather than scarfing it down right there, but as soon as we got back to POR, I ate it even though I wasn't really hungry.
It was pretty good, I actually liked the ears better than the actual cake part of it. The ears are made of marshmallow and they are coated in white chocolate, so I loved that part. The cake was chocolate, and while it was good, it wasn't great. I like Starbucks cake pops much more!
We hung out for the afternoon and watched Stacey and then before I knew it, it was time to get ready for dinner, and then Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!!!
Up next...Christmas in the Magic Kingdom!
