So I know it is my fault since I booked my ressie 132 days out instead of 180 but this was the first time I had to pick my restaurants and it was HARD!
I was very upset that a lot of the restaurants were booked or had liek 9-9:30 tables which with a 2 year old I dont think will work out.
Now I am obsessing about my choices. Can anyone give me likes and dis likes to the restaurants I picked and pictures welcome:
(All Dinner ressie)
1. Cape May cafe clam bake
2. Boma
3. The Crystal Palace
4. Chefs De France
5. Biergarten
6. 50's prime time cafe
Haven't tried Boma yet, we've had 2 adrs over the last few trips and keep having to cancel. I've only read great things about it though.
Crystal Palace is ok imo. Haven't tried dinner, which gets good reviews, we always do breakfast. The food is average, but the character interaction imo is poor. They are VERY rushed. We had trouble getting them to take enough time to take 2 separate pictures, one w/ my DD and one with my niece. My DD loves Pooh though, so we have to go.
We really liked Chefs when we went in Jan 09. It was by far the best meal of the trip. We were also able to watch Illuminations w/ our dessert from our table. I had the macaroni and cheese and it was great, DH had the tenderloin, FIL had the short ribs, MIL had the chicken and they all said it was fantastic.
Haven't tried Biergarten, but it's FIL's favorite restaurant, hands down.
50's is one of my favorites just for the atmosphere. Food is also very good. The fried chicken is the best I've ever eaten. I have guilt issues eating meat with bones in, so I didn't eat much, but it was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and of course the waitress interaction was fun. The pb&chocolate milkshake was AMAZING! The smores dessert I thought wasn't very good, but most like it. They didn't cook the marshmallows, they were just lightly browned on top, but not mushy. One pic I have:

My niece looking amused yet upset that she had to eat her vegetables.
I will say, like PPs, keep trying! I booked late for our Sept trip and couldn't get Le Cellier (DH's request) and I just got it a few days ago. 7:30pm on a Friday night! We're less than 2 months out. Things do pop up! But your choices look great! Have fun!
