no Ohana's or Le Cellier :-(

So I know it is my fault since I booked my ressie 132 days out instead of 180 but this was the first time I had to pick my restaurants and it was HARD!

I was very upset that a lot of the restaurants were booked or had liek 9-9:30 tables which with a 2 year old I dont think will work out.

Now I am obsessing about my choices. Can anyone give me likes and dis likes to the restaurants I picked and pictures welcome:

I've only tried the last three, but I really liked them. I liked the lobster bisque and m&C at Chefs. 50's had great fried chicken and it was a fun environment. Biergarten was good and we enjoyed the entertainment. I have to say one thing about Biergarten. When we went, I had $130 in my shorts pocket. I guess it fell out when I pulled my phone out of my pocket. We had a late dinner and we were in the last group of people there and the last ones for our server. She found the money and ran us down after we were out of the restaurant and almost out of the entire German section to give it to me. We were about to turn the corner to head to the exit. I was really impressed she did this. I would have never known where I lost it.

I meant to say that you should keep trying on the two you want. A lot of people cancel. We've gotten reservations at the last minute, even after we got to WDW and people cancelled the day before their ADR.

to all except Cape May Clam Bake. (There is a recent thread on that subject you might useful. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2512496 ) The remaining are all really enjoyable. I know you're disappointed now because you didn't get two that you wanted but I think you will be happy if you end up with just these restaurants.

Crystal Palace will be a treat with the Pooh characters and the food at dinner and breakfast is good. (Haven't tried lunch)

Biergarten is one of my favorites. Check to see if you're there while the band plays. This is one place that usually has some earlier openings.

Remy has been making appearances at Chefs de France but he usually ends his shift early in the evening. He is also on a limited run but that's been extended once.

50s good things for your child to et and a fun time especially if you get the right CM.

Boma - very good whether breakfast or dinner. It's a really good choice if you have both picky and adventurous eaters in your group. Or if you have people that think they might want to be adventurous. (Plus the lodge is worth walking through.)

As has been noted keep looking. Things do open up on occasion.

IMHO, LeCellier and 'Ohana are both overrated.

We've eaten at all your choices except CP and Biergarten and enjoyed them all. Boma is one of our favorites at WDW.

I'll admit to being a bit jealous of your Cape May clambake ressie - I'm the only one in my family who eats seafood, so it wasn't an option for me and recent reviews have been good. I think you've got some great choices there with a two-year-old, and as other posters have mentioned - keep trying. Things do open up.

I have not been to Cape May or Boma yet, but I have been to the other 4.

The Crystal Palace- After giving it a few chances, my girlfriend and I have added this to the will not return to list. The food has gone down hill a bit over the last couple of years and the character interaction was very poor our last visit. The characters constantly missed over large chunks of tables and had to constantly be told to go back to another area. They may have been new to the restaurant but with so many other and better dining options we don't think we will be returning anytime soon.

Les Chefs- This was a last moment addition to our last trip and we were pleasantly suprised. We had no complaints about our meal and would deff. go back. Perhaps try lunch next time so we can see Remy.

Biergarten- We ate here on NYE a couple of years ago. The food was pretty good. You will probably sit with another party, so if you are uncomfortable with that you might consider skipping it. We sat with an older couple and a family of 4. The family of 4 obviously did not enjoy sitting with others. They were sort of awkward and didn't speak to anyone at the table, not even eachother. My girlfriend and I and the other couple had a great time talking and drinking together. The entertainment just adds to make it a great, fun atmosphere.

50's PTC- The only place at DHS we think is worth eating at. I find it is a great place for lunch on our DHS day (I think I have only been there for lunch time). Beware that milkshakes (which are a must if you are able to have them) can be counted as a beverage or dessert on the DDP. My girlfriend and I find that sharing a shake and the s'mores dessert is a great way to cap off the meal.

As a PP said, don't give up in making ADR's for the places you want to eat since there are cancellations all the time. Make a couple of ADR's now to be safe but keep trying for the others.

We loved Ohana's. We liked LeCellier, but I think we liked Ohanas better.

Your choices look good! But here's my advice - KEEP TRYING!!!! I got several good times and locations (or at least in my opinion they are!) by checking A LOT! Also, check the thread for your month and people post when they are cancelling ADRs.

Defninitely keep trying for the ones you want, and even when you're there see if they'll take a walk-in. We've done that a few times!

Your ADR's are fine, but you could try about 45 days out from your arrival day as many people cancel ADR's when their final payment is due and they end up cancelling their trip instead. Sad for them, but a lot of ADR's do open up.

I've been trying for 'Ohana and we're not going until mid-December. I'm going to check my 45-day date and try around then. If not, the one's I've got are OK too.

Don't stress or get upset about Ohana or Le Cellier. We enjoy both, but neither are our must-do restaurants on each trip. Boma and The Wave are our must-dos.

First off, when are you going? I may be able to help you because I may be cancelling one of my Ohana reservations. Let me know. I am so sorry about your dilemma. I too had a tough time with reservations. The one thing that I found out though was that while I couldn't get my ADR online, when I called to make an ADR, there was room. Go figure. Did you try both ways? If you didn't, you may want to give it a shot.

Now, as far as restaurants, it's tough because you may like something that I don't and vice versa. Personally, my son and I LOVE Boma; the wife doesn't care for it as much as we do. I love Chef's de France but my wife and son don't. We all LOVE Biergarten. The buffet selections at both Boma and Biergarten lends themselves well [IMO] for most eaters [because of the variety]. I tried to get tables at 50's Prime Time, Crystal Palace, and Cape May last year but was unsuccessful. We were on the free dining plan and people gobbled those adr's up like hot cakes. I've heard great things from all of them though. I'll get to eat there one of these years. We are going on August 2nd and we have reservations at Boma, Biergarten, and Ohana.

I would keep trying for LeCellier just because there is a rumour that it may go to be a two credits (the 1st time we went I thought it was overrated but we went again last summer and LOVED it). Ohana's used to be a must do, but last year I was underwhlemed so we decided to do Kona instead. Good Luck getting the ADR's you want .

We have ate at 2008-The Crystal Palace and 2009-Boma and we liked both places. This year we are eating at Boma again and trying Cape May for the 1st time. My youngest DD is a very picky eater and she loved Boma..

Cape May Cafe - We love this place, and this year is the only year in the past 6 we aren't eating there, only because we would tend to eat at the same places every year and never try anything new.

Boma - tried it and hated it, however there are a lot of people who love it, I am an adventerous eater but this was not for me or my children and yes we left hungry.

The Crystal Palace - enjoy all of the meals here.

Chefs De France - new for us this year, can't wait

Biergarten - love it just discovered this last year, not sure why we never ate here before, can not wait for it this year.

50's prime time cafe - It's ok can be fun, neat atmosphere, foods ok nothing too exciting

I think your choices are all good choices. We wish we could try them all in one visit.

We go every year sometimes 2 and there are still so many restaurants we want to try. Maybe next trip.

I agree. I was trying to get a dinner res for LeCellier for months and finally got one a couple weeks ago for our trip this week. I kept trying every day or other day. Don't give up!

Prime time is alright but I think there is too many better choices.
My sons went to Crystal Palace last June with thier familys. They did not care for the food. This surprised me as they rarely ever complain. They also were not happy with the service. They will not be back.

I would keep trying for O'Hauna's. One of my sons ate there twice in June.
He also enjoyed Beaches and Cream at The Beach Club resort.

Bomas and Chef De France is a favorite of our group also.
