I just checked my alerts and saw the nasty comments about my post about having a pool view room.
For the record, I kept checking right up until I left to see if something else was available.
I wonder if any of you are the kind of guest like one one last night who threatened me because I asked her to move when she stood right in front of me as the fireworks started, in the walkway as it happened where she shouldn't have been
Luckily the guest who had stood with me in that spot for 45 minutes took my side, especially the lady who said she was ready to '***** slap' her for me.
I may complain, but, at least I'm not personally abusive.

Some people are crazy after a long day at the parks. At least that’s my justification. We got yelled at last year for trying to get around people sitting on the curb waiting for fireworks. There was not any where else to get through and we said ‘excuse me can we get by you’ and this woman just started screaming at us. Another person next to them said ‘lady shut up and let them by’.

Girl... If I would have been livid if someone moved in front of me after I had been standing there. I can't deal with that mess. My husband says I am going to get him into a fight one day.

I don’t think people were being nasty- just asking what you expected Disney to do when you got the room category you booked. Obviously it is crowded there (my son was there last week) and nothing was available. Disney can’t make something magically appear. If you don’t like the comments just move forward and don’t post anything else. Hope you enjoyed the trip

Nobody here was abusive- just stated facts that you didn’t agree with.

BTW did you report the person who threatened you with physical violence ?

People here seem to be 50/50. You ask something and you either get help/support even if it’s a “sorry not much can be done” or you get a “WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WOULD HAPPEN!!!!”

People - it’s not hard to say things in a nice way

To be clear, others indicated that you booked a pool view room and were placed in a pool view room. The resort runs nearly to capacity most times, and you yourself indicated that you checked frequently and no other categories were available. I don't think it's unfair or nasty for others to point out that there's not much for Disney to do in that case.

To the bolded, that's a pretty big leap. It seems to indicate that you're all in favor of physical violence so long as it's on your behalf, so are we to take your first remark (that you wonder if we are like the guest who threatened you) as a compliment? You can't have it both ways.

Sometimes I've posted on here and have had people calling me out for being unreasonable (or, you know, worse).

And one of two things, either they were right or they were out of line. Figure out which it was and just move on.
