Did I miss something or did Disney remove the option to just add the water park plus options add on, it now is the hopper plus water park & options? We dont use hoppers, but love water parks, so we always added the wp option. Now I feel like Im paying for a portion of something I wont use.

Yes, you must now get a hopper to get WPF&M. This happened with the recent price increase/ticket restructuring. It's not awesome.

Your seeing it right. It's disneys wonderful new attempt to turn you upside down and shake every last penny out of your pockets

Yup, this virtually guarantees that I won't be going to their water parks in the future. I have never used hoppers, and have absolutely no intention of ever using them, nor do I ever intend to pay for them simply for having access to mini golf, and water parks. There are plenty of other things I can do.

They've made the water parks a lot less desirable with this and the fact that you can't get direct transportation there anymore.

Oh nooooooo....I am just so glad that we purchased our tix for Nov trip before this happened. So sorry to hear they went this route. Unless, of course, they made the double option cheaper than purchased two separate ones, which I somehow doubt is the case.

I'm another one who never used hoppers, but always bought water parks. So I guess now I need to become a hopper because I cant give up water parks! Disney is forcing me to evolve the way I tour :headache:

I wasn't aware that there was no more direct transportation there. What does it take to get over there now, multiple stops along the way?

I was planning a one day visit during our trip in May and paying at the gate.

I believe you take transportation from your resort to a designated theme park and then they run a bus from that location to the water park.

We really enjoy the water parks and feel you do get your money's worth. I hope you'll still give it a try.

We also have enjoyed the water parks when we went to Disney with the kids. This trip is adults only to celebrate our 25th anniversary and my wife is not as adventuresome as I am. Not sure if worth the money anymore to spend all day on the lazy river

I hope this doesn't sound annoying, but it is possible to get a package with one free water park admission for each person included at no extra cost. I know I can't talk about specific agencies, but I wanted to put this out there. We took advantage of this offer for July. (Hope I didn't violate any rules by saying this)

To get to BB you get a bus to AK and then to BB. To get to TL you get a bus to HS and then TL. Hth.

For people who really love the water parks, it might be worth looking into a water park annual pass. It doesn't take too many regular admissions to add up to the AP cost.

It is only awesome if you want or use both. Not awesome to be forced to buy one in order to get the other.
Not in our case..... never have hopped..... probably never will either....
I haven't really looked at ticket prices since the latest changes. Did the park hopper option increase dramatically?

Regardless, the WP option use to be the same price as the PH option. Now it's $15 more. So, if you were going to buy just the WP option, now you're out an extra $15, but you also have the option to hop. That doesn't seem too terrible.

The Y.E.S. program tickets have been structured this way for a while. We bought the "premium" option (PH+WP) the one time we used the program. I think we hopped once, but it still worked out better for us.
