I just got an alert that said Disney Vacation Connection is going bye bye. I love opening it up and doing trivia and planning our trips. I also love that it has a countdown built in. bummer

I did not get a notice but when I just looked at the D-news scrolling across the top it has one that says "now it's time to say goodbye". You are supposed to come back and enter your email address at some point and they will send you a thank you gift. I didn't see anywhere yet to enter your email. But it did say to spend all your points. That is too bad, we loved the quizzes everyday and seeing our countdown.

I've had mine on 2 laptops now, and I've used it for 3 vacations now. I'm going to miss turning on the computer and it not being there with my countdown every day. I don't come here every day (I know shame on me), but I did check the day counter on that every day.

I loved checking it out everyday and doing the trivia question. The 31st will be the last day. I wonder why they are not continuing this??

Thats no fun, I've never used it because I never knew about it. Maybe I'll write a little ticker widget just so we still have something.

I didn't like the constant connections through my network firewall. I installed it, watched it beacon out for a week, and uninstalled it.

I liked checking the countdown everyday on my desktop too and the trivia. Too bad it's going away!
