Nope, they're routinely booked at 12:01am on your 60 day already by people who's 60 day opened earlier the same week.

This whole thing is a mess, it's been brought up many times in this thread, but there are thousands of struggling actresses in the US. Surely there are two out there who can be deemed A&E worthy for a different M&G spot.

Of course there are. It is finding the ones who are willing to move to Orlando to work for $9 a hour and no medical that is the problem.

I have to disagree here. As someone who checks the WDW Casting website daily, they've been having auditions for them every week for months. This week the auditions are just for them and next week other characters will be on the list too but Anna and Elsa is right at the top of it. And it's been like that for months. Especially now that they need even more over HS which is getting them more numbers over at HS but is really spreading the girls thin. They have enough to last but they're most likely getting a few more friends so they can open another m&g spot at Epcot or HS. Or just so those girls don't have a crazy amount of shifts. We see what they did to Wendy to help out with Anna...

You make a good point in regards to the special events at DHS. Those actresses have to be on stage and perform, so they need really good people in those roles. I'm just not sure why these roles are so difficult to cast. Hey Disney- pay more.

I don't think they need another line at MK. They need to put a meet and greet at EPCOT or DHS. Put them back in Norway for a meet and greet, and issue fast passes in the same manner they are testing right now at MK. DHS has plenty of room for a meet and greet. It can be done. This is not as difficult as balancing the national budget!

Characters usually make more than 9 an hour and since they are full time they do get medical.

The real issue is the girl has to look exactly the same as the other 8 girls playing a character. To opperate one room they need 3 of each character per a day. Usually 6 of one character will opperate one room meet and greet for the whole week with a back up.

The meet and greets that have certain hours and are only there for 8 only need 2 or 3 tops but they all day no break ones need a lot of people who look the same

They need to subcontract with the Duggars. It's an unending supply of girls that all look the same. Although they might have to stitch up that slit in Elsa's skirt......

That's what I'm wondering - did they let the line fill up and then start handing out passes with the 'start time' of say 10? I don't know.

I would think they have plenty of data on how many folks the girls meet per hour and thus should be able to relatively accurately hand out the cards to keep the line at the length they'd like it (I would hope for long enough so you never run out of people but not a long long wait for anyone ).

This will be interesting over the next few days....

I can 100% accurately say "I am glad I'm not a CM at the Anna/ Elsa entrance right now!"

I doubt it took till 10:00 to fill the stand by line. That probably happened 10 seconds after opening.

Yes, honestly, you are overthinking with an adult brain. Kids (at least the avg one) doesn't think that hard on it.

You can have Anna singing at HS at the same moment she's meeting at MK the same way you can meet with Ariel while eating at CRT and then walk over to her M&G and see her in her tail.

Disney Magic. Kids accept Disney Magic.

I don't believe they have been holding themselves to such a standard for face characters in the recent past. I've seen up to 6 different Cinderellas in the same day, and can look at pictures of my daughter with them later and know where we were in the parks based on which Cindy is in the picture.

I think the problem with Elsa is the wig. That hair color doesn't look good on anyone. It's not translating well in real life. Looks great animated, but not on an actual person. None of the girls who I've seen in advertisements or when we went to WDW in February look that much like Elsa. The wig just throws it all off.

Still think these roles are not impossible to cast, and they need to do a better job of it. They have casting calls all around the country. One of my friends was recruited at LSU, abs spent five years portraying Cinderella & Aurora.

They should just get over it and hire that hot chick that looks just like her
