No more pictures included at Akershus but same price??

when I booked our breakfast reservations for January 16th, 2015, it told me that after January 4th, 2015, picture packages with no longer be included with the meal. I am fine with that. But when I asked for the price, it is still 44 per person for adults during the offseason. Am I mistaken, or is this not the price I paid recently including pictures? I don't think I want to keep the reservation is going to cost the same but not include the pictures. Anyone with any knowledge?

They will still take the photos, but there will be no physical print package. The photos will be in your photopass account.

Won't I have to pay for them then? If I want them off of the site? Sorry, Disney veteran but never done photopass at all.

3) You MUST buy Memory to get "free" photos.
4) But, wait until you see the CRT

The pictures were always just a bonus to me, so I wouldn't necessarily expect them to lower the price...As far as I understand they are still taking the phots and you can get them on your MM account, just no hard copy passed out.

And there you have it.

The MM price is absolutley rediculous, even by Disney standards. The photo with the Akershus meal (which is overpriced by at least 100%), was a nice touch that made the meal price a little more palatable. It was pretty sweet to be able walk away with something physical to go along with the memory and experience. I actually said to myself, "It's pretty cool of Disney to do such a non Disney thing". It really was the tipping point that got me to book. Sometimes it's the little things.

Isn't this the truth. They keep eliminating things and raising the prices; CRT, Akershus and Wishes Dessert Party are just some of the examples. The shame in it all is that people gulp large doses of the Kool-Aid and say, "it's Disney" and don't think twick about it. I love Disney and even sip the Kool-Aid myself, but there are some things I will draw the line with.

you can get them without MM as you will have the option to pay for individual photos. But they are not cheap, they are about $15 each just to download. Don't know what they cost to order prints.

I also don't think there is any shame in purchasing something you want as long as you can afford to purchase it.

I didnt know this, had considered NOT getting MM for our upcoming trip, but not having meal pics may change my decision
