No more Jack Sparrow?

One of my friends told me that Jack Sparrow no longer walks around Disneyland because of older women giving him there number and trying make "sexual advances" on him in front of families? Anyone confirm this?

I had guys come up to me all the time when I worked in retail and give me their numbers. And I worked in a woman's clothing store so some were even with their girlfriends/wives.

It never once crossed my mind to give my number to a character, even one as good looking as Johnny Depp. But I have been hit on and given numbers by a ton of cast members.

Anyways, where I'm going with this is that it's a danger when you work with the public.

I don't think anyone is going to feel sorry for you. That kind of thing doesn't happen to us "normal" people... ;-)

The last time I seen Captn Jack was in 2007 near New Orleans square. One of my "girl" friends when caught sight of him went crazy..started to freak out and ran after him.

Other people started to run after him too.. smh

We saw Jack on the island a few years ago before they got rid of him. He was great with the kids.

I personally think Disney wimped out on this one. I think they could have figured out a way to make is work where everyone behaved themselves.

How do they handle lecherous guests when it comes to other CMs?

I'm glad to hear he is "available" to meet, but he's not a villain per se and should be somewhere the rest of the year, doncha think?

Was he at MHP last year? Maybe they're trying him out again.

It wouldn't surprise me, but I haven't heard anything. Hope to see him on the 19th as DH, DGS & I will be dressed like pirates. One thing I have noticed is that in WDW ALL of the characters have a 'handler' with them (which would keep that from happening), and that is not always the case at DLR.

This one is not as sexy as the other's have been, but yes, it is true. There was a blog up at one point written by one of the 3 Jack's. I have no clue where it is these days though.
