I am planning a trip to WDW for 16 of us over spring break 2013 and in the past we have done some of the Grand Gatherings events, but it looks like I am going to need some new ideas for “activities” to do as a group since GG has been discontinued.
Anyone have suggestions for meals or activities that will accommodate 16 people? We don’t tour the parks as a group, but we do like to get together once a day for a meal or activity. Chef Mickey and O’hana’s are 2 of our favorite meals and more often than not we get to sit together / near each other. We have done the Hoop De Doo a couple of times, so I think we will skip that one this time. Our youngest traveler will be 4 so the majority of the tours are not available to us either.
We are DVC members and will be staying at BLT. We will not rent cars and will rely on WDW transportation for the week. The 7 "kids" will range from 19 to 4 and all but 1 are boys, so no princesses or anything remotely "girlie" will work for the big group.

, they did a short pre-show with some animals, got another special pin, we all went on a special safari tour that did not follow the ride story line, but did spend extra time letting the kids ask tons of questions and we took lots of photographs, we all went to dinner at Tusker House, they served a family style meal with an African influence, they had characters, African performers with instruments that they let the kids use, they brought live animals for the kids to pet and there were the fab 5 for pictures.

that they don't have them anymore! The safari was our favorite. It was awesome!
