no more golf carts

Hi! I'm new here, wondering if anyone could answer this question? I made our reservations a few weeks ago for Nov 2007. At that time I was told that the golf carts were not in the system to reserve for 2007 yet. I called back today to ckeck on it and was told that they got a note yesterday that golf carts will not be available at all for 2007. Does anyone know if this is true? Thanks!

I just called and talked to Sundee. They are definitely renting golf carts in 2007. They can't guarantee pricing yet -- it may change before the end of the year. But, they are taking reservations now for 2007!

Thank you. I appreciate your quick reply. I really thought it sounded off. I asked him if he was sure that he read the memo correctly, but he assured me. I told my dh that I would think a lot of people would be quite upset if that was the case. We are traveling with 5 small kids, so it will be a huge conveinence. Thanks again!

Oh, man, we had so much fun with those things. One time our battery was low and we were carting 6....2 adults and 4 kids. My oldest DS got out and ran beside us, faster than we were going in the cart. We had everyone around us cracking up. Those carts made our trip that year!!!

I hope they'll be there in 2007... I called the Bike Barn last week and gave them my credit card and pre-paid for our first week in January!!

They will be there. Just too much extra income for the Disney folks. We have ours set for halloween week. 2007 is probably waiting to see how much they are going to be raising the prices.

I did call and reserve ours through the bike barn. They will have them. She said the guy I talked to was partially right. For 2007, when you call to make reservations, you won't be able to reserve the golf carts through CRO. It will have to be done through the bike barn. Now hopefully that information is right. I wish everyone could be on the same page. Sorry if I caused any confusion for anyone with my post. Thanks!

Boy, my heart skipped a beat when I read the title to this thread on the message board! We had our first trip to Ft. Wilderness in July and my wife, Princess Diva, said we had to get a golf cart before we go back in October for MNSSHP so I bought a 4 seater this summer and was afraid this thread was going to say we could no longer take our golf carts to FW. Wew, what a relief.
