No More Disney Dollars@ Disney Store!

The world of Disney Store in Manhattan is currently owned and run by Walt Disney World...it was no longer part of the the Disney Store chain after it's recent remodel (it was closed for a few months this year).

The Disney Stores that are now owned by CP will be selling Disney Dollars and they will still be accepted everywhere they were before. It seems they are being redesigned and new shipments will be coming in a few months. Some stores may still have some of the current design and will sell them until they run out. The reason some CM's in the stores did not know about the new design was probably because their management had not informed them yet. I did not find out about the new design until I specifically asked management about it. There are so many memos and new information all the time in the stores that it is hard for CM's that do not work everyday to keep on top of things.

SomePixieDust....I do not understand why the CM at the Manhattan store could not sell them to you if she had them in stock...the swapping for cash comments sounds strang on her part. It is possible that the Manhattan store will not be selling Disney Dollars anymore since I do not think WDW sell them...I know they accepted them as payment, but I do not think they sell them...though I could be wrong on that.

I saw some of the new Chicken Little Disney Dollars for sale on ebay. They are pretty cool looking.

I think the reason that store doesn't sell them is because it is not a Disney Store it is A World of Disney store like what is found at DD. That would explain why one would have them and one would not.
