Yes, they gave me one of those, but of course I wanted a MB.What do people use to get into the parks if you don't have a magic band? Plastic ticket?
I lost my MB at the Atlanta airport on Wednesday. Disney was more than happy to sell me another one later that day.![]()

I didn't. It was supposed to be funny, geesh. If I lose something, I wouldn't expect to get another for free.

We are staying at the Dolphin...does that count for this purpose as a Disney resort? Thank you!

Do the really old magic bands still work? I have a bunch from when they first came out and I have no desire to waste money on any more of them. I must have 20 already.
Short range “tap” functions such as theme park admission, paying for things, and using it to enter your room will always work, or so they say.
Long range functions such as on ride photographs will eventually stop working when the battery in the band runs out. Battery life will depend on use, but most say a few years.
I go into my MDE account to mooch at the MagicBands and when I go into edit order it takes me into a faq page? Anyone else?
Hi, question on magic bands. I have an upcoming trip in a few days and we didn't order magic bands because we already have our old ones. The old ones are still showing active on our magic band profile but on our upcoming resort stay (split stay SSR and POP) it says there are no magic bands associated with our stay.. Are we going to need to go to the front desk with our old magic bands to have them update?
