If you do contactless check-in, how do you get your credit card style park passes? Are they mailed like MBs used to be? Would you still receive them in mail if your trip is booked for a month out? Or is that too close? Not sure of the cut off time.

To get a card, you will not be able to use contactless checkin. You'll have to get it at the front desk. They will not mail them.
