No ME Vouchers Yet

We fly out two weeks from today and we still haven't received our ME vouchers. We go to WDW a lot and have always received our vouchers before the two week mark. I called DVC Member Services for another matter on Thursday and mentioned that we haven't received our DME vouchers yet. The CM checked, couldn't understand why we didn't have them and said that she would submit the info again. Is this unusual or have we just been lucky in getting our vouchers long before the two week mark? What happens if they never come? If I go to the DME counter with my reservation form will we be able to ride. This time I am bringing a friend who hasn't been to WDW in over 20 years and I do want it to be a smooth, positive experience for her. I've been telling her about the wonderful customer (guest) service at Disney and I'd hate for us to have a problem. Has anyone had this experience?
 
This happened to me on my June 2009 trip. I called about 3 weeks before and had been told it was just mailed out but a week later still nothing. So I called again and the CM thought it was strange as well. They double checked my address and reservation number etc and she sent once again. I got the vouchers but didn't receive the luggage tags. I had to get my bag from baggage claim and take it to the bus with me. It wasn't that big of a deal to me personally. I would imagine you can take your reservation info to the DME counter for some kind of help but if I were you I'd call back and get specific instructions on what to do in the event your vouchers do not arrive before you leave. I'm sure everything will work out fine and your friend will have a magical WDW homecoming!! pixiedust:
 
This does seem strange. We don't leave until Nov 4th and we received ours on Monday. Maybe you should call them directly:confused3

Yes. 866-599-0951. Whenever there is any issue or change with my DME reservation (after having made the ressie initially) I always bypass DVC MS and call DME directly. They are very helpful!
 
Oh, also wanted to add we are checking into VWL on Oct. 30th and received our ME tags one week ago today, so you should definitely have them by now. Good luck!

If you don't get them just go to the ME desk - as long as you have reserved the ride in advance you are ok - I just take my confirmation with me.

And you don't need to pick up your luggage - you can just give them your luggage receipts.

I rarely get tags and vouchers...not sure why but instead of calling time and again I have just adapted.

Good to know in case this happens to me again! I was instructed that I had to go pick up my own luggage then they put it in the baggage compartment under the bus. Oh well, luckily I only had one bag (avoiding those darn extra bag fees!) and it was on wheels, but it took 30 minutes to wait on it at baggage claim. I still think ME made things alot easier for me than in the past when I got tickets on Mears and other shuttles.
 
Yeah, part of our group a couple weeks ago didn't get their ME package. You just go to the desk at airport and you'll be fine. They got their own luggage, not sure if that was because they didn't know they didn't have to or just because they wanted to have it because of the small children with them.
 
We are hearing more and more reports of the DME info packet not arriving a month before travel than we have in the past. Not sure why though. I have always received mine but I have a friend who hasn't received hers the past two trips. She just grabbed her bags and brought them with her once and the other time she had only carryon so no need for the tags.

I rarely receive mine - I have two trips in the next few weeks where I have one set and not the next -- anyway I am not planning on lugging my luggage - just giving them my luggage receipts. I have done it before that way and it works fine.

We leave November 11th and I received them yesterday, plus we're in Canada, so usually everything takes a bit longer.

Oh and we also are booked with DVC
