Four adults. No interest in MBs. I have MDE with all 4 tickets. The others do not. Our first park is HS. When we arrive, do we need to go to Guest Services? Or, can we just go to tapstyles and they will print us paper tickets there?

If you are staying at a Disney resort, I believe you can get your hardcopy ticket card there. Otherwise, go to Guest Services or the Ticket booth at the park (my vote would be the resort).

Because that's how the system was designed. The "Managed By..." feature was designed for children under 13 who couldn't have profiles of their own.

Go to the ticket booth at your first park and get plastic ticket cards for everyone. You’ll be fine.

And I disagree with the suggestion that every adult needs their own MDE account, assuming that this is a one-time visit to WDW. Individual MDE accounts are useful when planning multiple visits or when a visit involves multiple hotel rooms, splitting up for ADRs or Genie+LLs, etc. If all 4 adults are going to be staying together for this visit, you’ll be fine with the one MDE account. I’ve always managed my sister and her husband, for their rare visits to WDW.

Six of us went last summer and I bought all the tickets and they were all on my MDE.

One asked for a hard ticket, three set up MDE and put their ticket there so they used their phones or Apple watches.

The plus to them having an MDE is that mobile order was our only option last summer, they were refusing us entry to order inside. Since they were all paying for their own food, they could place their orders on MDE.

You can head to DHS and the CM will issue you plastic cards at the entrance. You can use one MDE for all of you, I have my sister and adult niece on mine as they only go with us and it's just easier.

Agree with the pp if you want to mobile order it will be done through the one MDE.

I also recommend getting an ID case/lanyard to keep the plastic card in for easy access if your using genie +, especially for the attractions that have two touchpoints.

This is annoying, and there are faster ways, but this will work.

The other way is to go to Disney Springs guest services the day before and get keycards for everyone. HS services will be a zoo.

Getting the ticket card (pretty much the old Key to the World cards) is simple enough. But, if they have smartphones, you may be able to add all their tickets to your phone's wallet then send each to the others. Or, as noted, you can scan for everyone.

I agree that it helps if they have their own MDE becuase of the heavy emphasis on mobile order in the parks. Paying cash or ordering in person is still available, but more of a hassle and a longer wait than it was pre-pandemic (since there is often only one register open for it).

Personally, I love me my MB. So much more convenient then pulling out my phone.

Everyone's ideas are valid and work just fine however by FAR the easiest option is just to get MB's and have everything taken care of prior to stepping foot on Disney
property.

Yes, you could buy any UNLINKED magic band on eBay and link it yourself in the app well before you arrive. This would be about $20/person. Yours would work on your Apple watch.

Do not buy a used one. Once they have been linked to someone else, they can't be linked to a new account.

You could also get one working on your phone and one on your watch. That would be easy enough.

If this is just to tag in at the gates, no big deal. But this can be a pain for a bunch of G+/ILL/late hours tag ins.

If you have "iPhones, Apple Watch or Google Pay enabled Android phones." you have the option to use "Magic Mobile". This allows you to use your phone for pretty much all of the things you would normally use a MB or paper ticket for. In all honesty though, the bands are the most convenient way to do things.

I've been over a dozen times, for 10 day trips, so over a hundred days, and I've never seen them issue a ticket at the tapstyles. Where are they getting the stock? ANd I agree with the above poster, how annoying for everyone behind you - that's what the ticket booths are for.

They have them in their pockets, get a new batch each morning. The OP simply pulls up the tickets in their MDE and the park greeter will issue the plastic ticket using the barcode in seconds. My dd is a park greeter and it is part of their job, if they can't quickly do it, they can pull a manager with an iPad and get back to the line.

For something as simple as this there is no need to go to GR; where they are taking care of more complicated situations when it can be handled at the entrance.

We can agree to disagree, but this is part of their job and if they can't do it quickly enough they will step aside with you and complete the task without holding up the line. They are trained to do this, if you think going to GR is a better option that's fine but there really is no need.

Guest relations/services isn't necessary... any ticket window can issue the hard tickets, usually quickly and easily.
