She said, "Morning Barb!! Ok don't judge us...after our food coma at Flying Fish last night we stopped at...

...to pick up breakfast for today!"





"Also, has anyone else noticed that the smell they pump out from the bakery to the Boardwalk is the exact same scent as from the Be our Guest pie during Mickey's Philharmagic?! Is it just us?"


"Ok this is what we picked up at the bakery...two chocolate croissants!"




"They are lovely when they are fresh but didn't really hold over well until this mornng...very very stale, booo!"



"Luckily we had a back up...





"I hadn't intended to get a cupcake but I couldn't resist this, as I'm a pumpkin nut! It's a vanilla cake with PUMPKIN FILLING!"





"We loved it, this was perhaps the most perfectly balanced cupcake I've had at Disney ...the filling was really closer to a pure pumpkin puree. It was not sweet at all so it was great in contrast to the simple moist cake and light buttercream frosting. Excellent seasonal choice!"



"Then we spent a lot of time strolling around the resort last night...POFQ is so small and pleasant!"





"Perfect night for a horse-drawn carriage ride!"

"They brought out bread...




...that's a first for us. I thought bread had to requested and we never want it. Kind of a waste, I felt bad."



"We ordered a large Carcioffi...my fave!"





"I got to pick the pizza...Charlie got to pick the size."


"Which was a mistake...we always have leftovers when we order individual pies but this time Charlie was determined not to. When he grabbed his fifth slice, after I begged him not to, I snapped this pic so I can shame him later when he inevitably starts feeling ill!"




"But, gluttony aside, another great meal and I LOVE the water service at Via Napoli. I'm someone who always needs three or four refills during a meal and they are always so on top of that!" ​

She said, "I walked over the Chase lounge right after lunch...in case Charlie suddenly doubled over."





"I tried to get him to have some ginger ale from the freestyle machine but he chose Coke Zero instead. Oh well!"





"He says his orange Coke "tastes like Soarin'!" Okaaaay...






Then a little later Becky said, "Well Charlie is still breathing so we headed to...

"And the pretties!"





"I chose a double scoop with hazelnut and caramel."





"They were both SO GOOD!" This was a much better choice than the coffee I had a couple months ago, which I thought was so bland! I really did want to try the pressed brioche but nooooot after pizza!"



"Charlie got the macaron sandwich and bit into it before I could get a pic!"




"He's never had a macaron before and he loved it. I took a bite and didn't. But I think meringues are the most boring things in the world, so to me macarons are just delivery vehicles for delicious ganache or buttercream!"

"The first plate was Lia's...

"She did really great. I thought she would be scared, since she's in that phase at home right now."




"Then DH had what looks like a heart attack waiting to happen with his 6 sausages and 10 slices of bacon... Ooh and don't forget the scoop of cheesy potatoes."





"Then I had scrambled eggs, puffed french toast (yum), sausage, bacon and breakfast lasagna (double yum)."

"It was delicious! I'm a sucker for chili, and I thought this one was quite good. Had a nice spice factor but wasn't unbearable. Perhaps the only thing that could've made it better was some diced raw onion sprinkled on top."




"The New England Pot Roast....Our Tavern Keeper's Favorite."



"This was as amazing as I always remembered, even trying to recreate it at home doesn't bring back the same memories as the real thing. No knife needed, just shred it with your fork. All the vegetables retaining a nice bite, not gummy at all."




"The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake...



"The go to dessert at LTT! It never lets me down. How can you go wrong? Caramel, Toffee, Chocolate, French Vanilla Ice Cream, perfection on a plate."


"I would never do LTT for supper, but it never lets down for lunch. So many good options, but I always end up trying the same thing over and over."​

She said, "I went to pick it up lunch from the Contempo while DD and DH slept. We already started eating before I remembered to take a picture. I decided to send it anyways to show how big the lobster roll was. It is half eaten in the picture. There was a ton of lobster meat that it was overflowing the bun."





"DH just had a burger (boring)."

"This was very good, especially for CS. DD really liked it too.'

We leave in just 2 more days! Our suitcases are packed (minus last minute things) and we are ready to go and enjoy some warmth down in FL.

We will be down at Beach Club from Oct 30 ~ Nov 6 and move to Universal's Portofino Bay from Nov 6 ~9. Although, Universal is not technically not WDW, I'll include some meal pictures since we do plan on doing several TS meals while we are there.

She said, "I stopped for a snack yesterday at...







"Float with vanilla ice cream. We don't have that option at Disneyland and this was so good and refreshing!"




"My last meal on my trip was lunch at...







"First plate: Everything was thrown together, but there's broccoli, spoon cornbread. Mediterranean chicken, turkey lunch meat, and sweet potatoes from the kids section."





"Second plate: Mashed potatoes, broccoli, spoon cornbread, Mediterranean chicken with rice, mac & cheese."






"Desserts: Cardamom bread pudding, key lime pie, chocolate cake, turtle cheesecake, and coconut flan hidden in the back (best thing on the plate)."



"This was a fitting meal for my last because of my friends who visited:"







"A few of my favorites through the trip -

"Favorite overall CS: Be Our Guest. The service was fast and efficient and my food arrived before I'd even gotten my drink. Both my entree and dessert were tasty and I will definitely be back again. A close runner up is Raglan Road, but the service there took it out of the running."

"Favorite overall TS: Yak and Yeti. The food was amazing, as always, and the service was the best I'd had on the trip. This was a favorite from last year's trip and will remain in my "must-do" list for next year."

"Favorite dish: Kevin's Heavenly Ham at Raglan Road. When you put ham, bacon, and mashed potatoes in the same meal, it's an instant winner. Very well prepared and easily my fave for this trip. Runner up is the french onion soup at Les Chefs de France, because that is heaven in a bowl."

"Favorite dessert: Strawberry and Cream cake at Les Chefs de France. This one was tough, because I didn't have a bad dessert on my trip, but a single one didn't absolutely stand out. This one won because it is light and refreshing and the flavors were great."​

"It's MNSSHP night for us! We don't really do costumes, just t-shirts!"

Once they got to the party, Becky wanted to share this...

"This whole family was dressed in awesome pirate costumes and they had turned their stroller into a wooden pirate ship! So cool!"

"We are having a pre-party dinner at Pecos Bill's...so sad they got rid of the chicken wrap! I got the veggie burger instead."




"And taco salad for Charlie!"





"Aaaand of course no MNSSHP is complete without the pumpkin waffle from Sleepy Hollow!"



"We each got one and some of the reviews had lowered my expectations so I was pleasantly surprised. I could definitely taste the pumpkin spice and loved it! Oh Sleepy Hollow, is there anything you can't do?!"





"We got the waffles right after HalloWishes...perfect follow-up!"
