Hi there,

I was seeking some advice from the experienced travellers here. I called the Port Authority and they confirmed that due to security concerns, there are a no lockers nor luggage storage at the cruise terminals.

Because we are going to WDW prior to our cruise and anticipate considerable quantities of purchases of Disneyana, where do people suggest storing extra packages/items so that we aren't crowded out of our stateroom onboard the ship.

We have direct land transfers from WDW to PC and from PC to MCO. Is there a nearby hotel that will hold extra luggage for a fee?? Can the ship itself store extra baggage?

Thanks.

Anything you take on the ship has to fit in your stateroom. There is nowhere else to store your extras on the ship.

Have you considered checking into whether you can ship things home from WDW?

Thanks for the reply. The shipping from WDW is certainly a consideration I'd not thought of, but because we are Canadians, I think that ideally all purchases from abroad should be accompanying us when we make our Customs declaration when we return home. The other kicker is that shipping to Canada is not only more expensive, but also entails pricey brokerage fees, taxes and possibly duties/tariffs.

It sounds like you need to pack an empty suitcase within one of the others, or a couple of big carry on duffle sort bags. You will have more luggage to handle going home but you can store the suitcases under the bed while you are on the cruise. If they don't slide under, just lift the frame & that will do the trick. ;)
