I nursed my kids in public all the time, though under a baby blanket. I don't see the big deal, even without the blanket. I always avoided baby centers and bathroom nursing areas because they seemed icky and germy to me.

Oh for the love of....

I just got back from 8 days of a puke fest at WDW, due to the Norwalk virus that is rampant. I wish a little tit peek was the worst of my worries while there.

Great. And we're headed there in 5 days.... I just had Norwalk and don't want to get it again! Talk about an unplesant experience! Though I hope you guys are much better.

Can you do it with just the nipple and lets say 1/2 a b**b?
o

No I can't :confused3 I dont know why.. I just cant... it hasn't phased ANYONE who has seen me nurse.. my brother, his gf, my kids, etc... its a breast no one really cares around here except that lady at walmart..

Now that truly sucks. Sorry it happened to you. One of my big fears of going on vacation is getting seriously ill. Hope you are feeling better now.

Thanks so much. It was truly a horrible experience and it did ruin the trip, sorry to say. Oh well, what can you do, **** happens!

It was an epidemic while we were down there, I'm not kidding! There were people puking outside, in the food courts, in the bathrooms and puked filled towels in the hallways (we were at the Beach Club).

People were even puking in the parks. I pity the poor family that was assigned our room after we left. I can not tell you how much puke hit the floor and mattress (which mousekeeping never cleaned, just gave me a bottle of cleaner). I did tell the front desk that the room should be fumigated when we left, doubtful that happened.

1st your baby is beautiful ! 2nd ok I didnt know the whole thing was needed . Sorry

We as a family ignored her after we noticed it we didnt stare at her to make her uncomfortable. She was feeding her baby and I understand that . I mean I dont want the baby to not eat ! My Grandchild eats whenever she is hungry and sometimes we are not at home I dont make her wait I feed her . I dont expect you not to feed just dont flash your whole breast if you can help it to the group of 3-10 yr olds in WDW who thought they were going to talk to a turtle not see a whole breast by thier face

Oh boy, I have a 4 month old I'm nursing as I type this thread. Although I personally believe in privacy, and NO I have not nor do I plan to "whip out my ****s" at will - it really saddens me that so many people (especially women) see breast as se*ual objects. I think it's a beautiful to see women nursing their babies. It's the natural thing to do. Now, because I live in a world that see ****s as a something other than ‘bottles’ - I cover up.

Oh who cares. I was a nursing mommy. I don't care if you're a nursing mommy. Breastfeeding is easy, cheap, and good for the babes.

BEFORE you jump on me it is your right of course to breast feed your child but it is also my right not to have to look at your nipples.
We are in WDW right now and I can not tell you how many times we have seen someone whip out a breast and put a child to it .

My sister breastfed but always kept a blanket over her. What happend to being kind to others :confused3
My 8 year old nephew leaned over in Turtle Talk and asked me if I could tell the "lady in the floor he could see her b**bies , because he didnt think she knew and he didnt want her to feel embarrassed " there were several children staring and she didnt care . She was in the floor with the kids breast feeding her baby . Like I said I dont care if you do it because it is your right but do you really have the right to expose yourself to kids? If I didnt have a baby latched on to it would I get in trouble if the cops walked by ? uhh yeah so please think before you do it without a cover for your child and yourself . I am not talking about a lady with a baby under a **** I am talking about a lady lifting her shirt up over her breast and just hanging it out .

Why should a baby be foreced to eat under a blanket? If you don't want to see s mother breast feeding her baby TURN YOUR HEAD

OMG, I can just imagine what Crush had to say. Totally awesome, dude!;) :rotfl2:

:scared1: I'd take all the peeking ****s in the world over all these people being so sick.

Sorry..breasts

I can only hope this has passed by the time we get there next week!!! My sister just had food poisoning and I had Norwalk so no one else needs to puke in our house for like a million years....

On the topic of brestfeeding- heck, I don't care if someone breastfeeds in public or not. All women have you-know-whats, it's not like we ladies haven't seen them before. :rotfl2: So if someone wants to let the whole thing hang out with me sitting there.... I'm not going to complain.

NO Problem with the breast feeding I swear I know it is natural but why do you need your whole breast out . Can you do it with just the nipple and lets say 1/2 a b**b?
I dont know I didnt breast feed but I see other moms doing it with something over them even just a blanket would do . Shoot I dont mind the nipple at all I got a pair of them . BUT the WHOLE thing , please explain to me why the whole thing is needed?
\
I forgot to mention that before it was all said and done people had gotten up and moved thier children away from her and there was a ring of a buffer around her and her breast .

Since the breast is a natural thing is it ok to just sit there with them out ?
I just had a reduction and a lift they look great and I wish I could show anyone who wanted to look but it just is not something you do

I nursed my daughter 7 months. I don't think some people understand how difficult bf can be. My daughter had a REALLY difficult time latching. Even when I tried to do it with a blanket on top, she would wiggle out of it in her struggle to latch. I would get dirty looks in ladies' lounges and all sorts of places I expected to be 'safe'. You get to a point that you feel a little less enthused about hiding away or covering with a blanket when it all seems futile. I never exposed myself, but things had a way of working their way out.

Really, the baby's head covers most of it, so I don't understand really what people's hang ups are. If I see someone bfing, I divert my eyes, but just go on. Now someone did walk into the nursing room I was using once at work to pump and THAT was awkward!

I don't think it's ever ok to expose yourself in public even if you are feeding your baby. Just throw a blanket over yourself! I am for breast feeding, I think its wonderful, just not in public!

Do you eat your lunch in a toilet stall with a blanket over your head?

Did he pull out the bikini top and ask the audience what it was? Did anybody respond that it's what the lady on the floor needs?

Seriously, though. It's a breast. I get perturbed by the moms that feel the need to make a show of their nursing -- they're generally the ones looking for a fight about it -- but ordinary breastfeeding isn't a big deal.

if you dont like it you can enjoy your meal in the bathroom where you dont have to see it if it bothers you so much.. seriously.. its a breast.. seen one seen em all if you ask me!

Oh yes and Anthony pop's off like 100 times a meal.. yes it really isn't as "easy" as you'd think.. it truly is something you must learn to do

I just think it's courteous to not show a **** in public, i don't think that's too much to ask. Also, covering it up with a blanket is very common! I don't know why you said toliet stall... I didn't say anything about a bathroom.:confused3
