No FP until night before....stress?

Hi,
My military brother is going to get tix for myself and the family using his discount, but cannot get the tickets until the day before. This means that I'll be fast passing at that time. Do we have any hope of tier 1 rides? This is our first Disney vacation as a family, so the kids will not realize what they are missing. I fully expect to not ride Frozen.
Anyone else been in a similar situation?

It depends on the time of your trip, which park you're going to etcetera. Honestly, I'd recommend joining Touring Plans. They'll help you maximize a personalized touring plan - you can plug in whatever FP+ you do get and hopefully, if you go at rope drop, you'll be able to get quite a few things done!
