No foam mattresses at OKW

There was a thread a few weeks back talking about how the resorts were now making egg-crate style foam mattresses available for those people who needed extra sleeping space but were still staying within the contentious occupancy limits. We're in that position later this month - with DS14 and DD12 in a 1BR at OKW.

Anyway, I just called MS to inquire about them and the CM I spoke to had never heard of such a thing and even called over to the OKW front desk to ask. According to the information I was given, and contrary to what was posted here a few weeks back, there are no additional foam pads available for use at OKW.

If anyone has different information and can share with me the secret handshake on how to get one of these, I'm all ears. No pun intended.

We are in the same positon as you DD 11 and DS 7. We solved the problem with an Aero Bed. The one we bought comes in it's own carry/travel bag and is easy to transport by plane.
We have started taking it to other hotels that have roll a ways, most charge 10 dollars for the extra bedding. It has come in handy when the kids have friends over.
Available in most stores and at many large catalog companys. We got our at QVC.

I would call OKW and ask for the housekeeping dept. They may have better info than the front desk.

You can also use the cushions from the sofa as a floor bed. We have done this in the past when we had those kinds of issues. We have also had a small person sleep on the love seat with the extra blanket and pillow from the master closet.

I was the person that posted that info after touring a GV at BWV. Stephanie from the front desk told me all DVC resorts have it available and just "call down and ask". As the OP said, maybe asking for housekeeping does make more sense.

I think this is thread you are referring to which talks about it at VB as well for what it is worth.
