No flash-photography allowed?

Why must you try and insinuate that I am trying to find a sinister reason for it? Why must you belabor the cold logic of a situation when I am merely finding humor in an action that is relatively unheard of?

Sorry that I find it humorous to respond to a six year old post. :happytv:

Dont think anyone thought there was anything 'sinister' going on. The first person that mentioned them 6 year old post had the rolling laugh going, and I simply wondered if it was from a search, or if the person has been reading page after page and reached that far back :)

OK, I can accept that but I still have to wonder what difference it makes if it is 6 years old or 6 minutes old. If it's relevant, it's relevant. I just cannot understand why anyone would even notice how old the post was. I know I didn't when I saw it in the list.

Another way to explain ISO.

The higher the ISO the less light the camera needs in the first place. This may permit getting a fair picture when the aperture won't go any wider and you still need a pretty quick shutter speed.

You know-the big NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY on the ride sign gives it away every time.

I can't stand the excuse of " I didn't see the sign, I didn't hear the annoucement, or I don't speak English..." Nothing worse than being blinded by a camera.

So, for fun, I went to Disneyland Paris and took over 375 pictures with my flash on...and made sure to get every person in the film I could. Mean yes, but good night it felt good to shrug and say "Non parlezvous english"...

Don't worry I won't do it again!

As long as people have flashes on their cameras, you're going to have flash photos in dark rides. Some people do it on purpose, some by accident (I know most never even crack open the manual to learn how to use the camera, but that's the beauty of a "point-and-shoot."

BTW, I love six-year-old threads! Just goes to show how timeless many of the things we know and love (or hate) about Disney really are!
I'd like to see the mods take timeless topics like this and maybe create a "best of" thread on each one. Those would be some CHOICE reading!

Because all the people next to you will start yelling "NO FLASH" at you, repeatedly! :rotfl:
