No Expiration

Has anybody been able to confirm the rumors that no-expiration theme park tickets will be discontinued? We generally do a 4-5 night stay with maybe 2 or 3 days in the parks, so for us we get 3-4 yrs out of them and have been the perfect way to go.

I don't know that this is a confirmation, but I bought tickets the other day to get in before the price increase and I couldn't find a "no expiration" option to select. So, maybe it's already gone? or I was just doing something wrong.

The No Expire option has not been available at disneyworld.com/tickets for a year or two. It is (currently) available direct from Disney at WDW and by phone. Authorized Disney ticket re-sellers also stock no expire tickets.

With Disney pulling them from online purchases a couple of years ago, I expect that Disney greed will discontinue them altogether.

We bought some additional non-expiration tickets a couple of weeks ago and now have enough admission media to last us 14 years until we plan to sell the rest of our DVC contracts.

Even if it's confirmed on Sunday, you'll likely still be able to buy them from UT until their stock is gone.

Must. Be. Nice. :D

Edit to add: You know? Now that I think about it, that's not a bad investment, especially if you already have the money. Heck, maybe even if you have to equity-line it.

Wilson ,
The way my wife and I go to the parks ,generally a couple days out of a 4 or 5 day trip,we get about 3 -4 years out of them.

That's what we did... we only have 5 years, not 14, but still... We'll have APs for 2015/2016 - which will give us 2 trips in 12 months, then we have 10 day NE PH, which will give us 3 more trips. We will have a total of 20 no expiration fun days, so 10 years of waterparks... If Disney raises prices 5% a year, then we're earning a 5% return (since in the bank it would earn zero), but actually, when you factor in the savings of 3 trips off a 10 day NE PH, we save over a $1,000 for our family. Well worth it. I would love to buy another set for us all, but the inital cash outlay adds up.

How do you use them with MDE? Do you link the NE tickets? If so, are you going to GR to switch things around when you want to use the AP? Or can you do it yourself on MDE?

I'm trying to decide if it's worth getting. We occasionally use the WP. Would it be pretty easy to use my AP in the morning at a park, then switch to the NE WPFM to go to the water park in the afternoon?

I just looked at their website and don't see them. They were there a couple of days ago.
I thought it was just my eyes playing tricks on me! Rats!

AAA South online is showing them on their ticket website.... wonder if they really have them instock!

Edited: NE are still available on Orbitz/cheaptickets as well.

From another site:
Undercover Tourist has removed non-expiring from their pages temporarily while they take stock and find out how many they can sell. They will be back, at which point UT will sell them until they run out.

The Official Ticketcenter had them earlier today.I just rechecked, they're still online selling them.

We have 9 days left on a WPF&M no-expiration (there are no park days left) 4 days left on a 10 day NE both loaded onto my DME.And the answer is yes when we go to a water park it subtracts off of 1 ticket and to enter parks it subtracts from the other set.
