No Einstein in your crib? Get a refund

My girls loved Baby E's when they were litte. I have no idea if it helped them, but it helped me!!

I do know that we are trying to raise money for a vacation to WDW so I will be returning the ones we have. No sure how many that is, but if I have more then 4 then I will be getting my mother to return some also. More money for the trip fund.

Considering my username, this is hilarious!!:rotfl: Anyway, I actually gave myself that username because when I joined these boards my youngest was just obssessed with those videos! I, of course, never really thought about them making him a genius or not! LOL :rotfl:

Although, I must admit he started reading (on his own) and can now read through almost any kid(and adult ) book that you give him without missing many words! It does make you wonder since neither of my other children read until they were taught in kindergarten! But I never really considered it being due to the dvd's. I just assume it's an effect of many different (people, computer, dvd's, learning games) things that he has been exposed to, and the fact that kids all learn at different rates?! Who knows!:)

We have 9 of the BE DVDs, and I intend on returning 4 of them. DD is just not into them, but she does adore Little Einsteins, so I'll be reinvesting the refund money directly back into Disney dvds/products. No one in this household was under the impression that it would make my children more intelligent.

My DD was a super fussy baby. These videos were the only thing that stopped her from crying, but they only worked 1 time through. I have very fond memories of getting supper all ready, sticking DD in her bouncer in front of the TV and then telling my husband "GO!" We had a half hour of peace to eat....after that it was all over. It was only a half hour, but those videos were worth their weight in gold!! :rotfl:
