No Discounts at Dolphin for early March?

I've called the Dolphin a few times over the past couple of weeks trying to get a one-night ressie for March 6th with a gov't discount. Each time I've gotten the same answer: "we are not offering any discounts for that time of year". I'm assuming it's because its "peak" season with Spring Breaks. Any opinions or past experiences as to whether or not they will eventually come out with discounted rooms for that time period?

Just checked both Dolphin and Swan online and only the Swan showed any "discount" with an Internet rate of $279 for that date.

Maybe they are holding rooms for a convention and will release some later.
