No Club 33 for 02/17-02/22 ABD Backstage Magic Trip?

Hi all,

I know this is probably impossible to answer, since Club 33 is never a guaranteed part of this trip. Last month they announced that Club 33 would be renovated starting in January, 2013. Does this mean our chances for eating here will be pretty low. If so, Do you think ABD or the DIS will find something else special to do to make up for this? Either way, It will still be an awesome trip & I can't wait!!!

Minor renovations on parts of Club 33 started in early December.

That, added to the fact that the Club allowed members to book during the holiday season made it impossible for our December Adventure to visit.

As renovations are supposed to be in full swing in February, I believe our chances of visiting are very, very low.

Other special things were added in it's place.

We did not get to visit Club 33 on the October 2013 BSM. They did arrange for a substitute. Apparently we were the first tour to have the new experience, and we were asked to keep its exact nature secret, but I'll be cryptic and say that it should be considered to be over 57.6 times better...

I was on the October 13-18, 2013 tour and we also did not eat or even go into Club 33. We were told that the renovations had already started and were being done in the mornings, while members were still able to book reservations for lunch.

As Kevin said, there were a couple of other special things substituted, which appear to be the same as those experienced by the Dec. 2013 group. I would have liked to have spent an entire afternoon at one of the places!

As someone traveling in the Feb '14 BSM I have been bummed for quite a while about our likely missing Club 33, but the cryptic messages have me intrigued!
