I read in another post that there are no clocks in the rooms. Are people expected to bring their own? Is there a wake up service provided for people that want to get up at a certain time?

Thanks,
Gary

There is a wake up call available....... there is also a channel on the tv that periodically shows the time.

Even if you decide to bring a clock -- be sure to try the wake up call at least once! You will receive a special wake up message from Mickey himself.
;)

Another good "wake-up call" is pre-ordering room service breakfast the night before. They are VERY prompt...only once or twice out of 18 cruises have they ever been late, and sometimes they are even early (if so, they will call first so you can be sure you're "decent").

That was one of the first things we noticed...no clocks anywhere. When I asked our waitress about this she said "they do that because you are on vacation". Well I gotta agree with that but just about everything on the ship is on a timetable. So it is is kinda inconvenient.

We set the alarm on the TV to get up in the morning. We also used the cell phone alarm as a backup if we had an early morning tour. Just make sure you don't leave the channel on a movie channel or when it turns on in the morning you may be inbetween movies and there will be no sound to wake you up.

I always pack a small one from home, I like to see what time it is if I wake up during the night. Its nice to look across the room and see the time without having to turn on lights.
