Just wanted to say - I fell out of the Feb no buy - right at end - with like a week to go - we found out we are expecting and had lots of unexpected doctor appointment copays - since March is 1/2 over - I do plan on joining in April!!!! Hopefully I can stick with it then - it is a very helpful tool - even DH got into it asking "is today a no buy day?"

Thanks all - see ya in couple of weeks

Well I had my first real splurge on buying that I think is what no buy is supposed to avoid. I went to target for an under $10 gift for my Pokeno group. I found a necklace for that but whille in that section I found a $10 pair of sunglasses that I "needed" and in the stationary section a poly 3 ring small binder ($8) to use for my Disney trip instead of my very heavy deluxe Passporter binder, and the pockets ($5) to go with it. They were totally overpriced but I have been looking for that exact thing for weeks, online even and hadn't found anything like it so I bi the bullet and bough it even though the money is NOT in the budget. Oh well. Time to let it go and not do it again...

So I changed side dishes, saved the eggs for tomorrow but will have to get some tomorrow. But, I made it. Dinner has been served, I am off to a Girl Scout meeting and no money will be spent there.
