Tomorrow I will be spending money as I am meeting two friends from high school for lunch. Did I mention that I graduated high school 39 years ago and never went back? I was tracked down via my sister's facebook page and glad to reconnect. I am much grayer, much heavier and using a walker or cane to stay on my feet but they both look great.

March 1st - $10.00 groceries. Can't believe I forgot to get the cheese.
March 2nd - $11.70 lunch, around $10.00 for dinner <--- eating out is one of my biggest expenses - I'm trying very hard to cut back in this area.
March 3rd - $0.00!:cool1:

:cheer2: cheering myself into MORE zero spend days! :cheer2:

Jumping in here.

In addition to the essentials (food, utilities, gas, school supplies), I expect to spend some money over the next few days when my daughter is swimming in Nationals. (entry fees, heat sheet etc)

So far, I haven't spent anything outside the budget - yippee! I'm typically guilty of curing cabin fever with a trip into town to "look around" which invariably costs me money. So, I'm staying home instead and finding other productive/ less costly ways to entertain myself!

The challenge for me will be the weekend eating-out! We NEED to get that under control!

Goals = Spend $650 (or less) and have at least 15 $0 days. Also...to only eat out once this month. (Unless we go out of town to visit family, because then we basically have to eat fast food a little.)

March 1st = $0
March 2nd = $0

Total so far = $0

Zero dollar days so far = 2/15

Making a fairly large grocery trip today.

Day 3!

Grocery Shopping: 14.10/250 for the month (big shopping trip this weekend though)

Misc Items: 0/200

3/1 $0
3/2 $14.10 on groceries
3/3 $0

March 1: $0
March 2: $0

Going to Disneyland in 8 days, so there will be some spending there, but FIL's going to buy the food (since I paid for our tickets and hotel) and we have some money on a rewards card for dd's souvenirs. :thumbsup2

Another no buy day today. I think I might actually hit my mark of 10 which is really good because I don't know if I'm going to be able to stay in budget this month. A group of us are going out to celebrate by DSIS's baday so dinner for me and hubby plus part of hers will run me $100 or so and my hubby and I have free tickets to Lion King on Broadway that we got from Disney Movie Rewards, we're making a day of it and spending the day in the city, between the parking fees, lunch, dinner, train tickets and if I buy anything that will easily be a $150 day. Just those two things is more than I have in my entertainment budget. I will be pulling from other categories I guess. I would be thrilled if I can just stay under the total budget for the month!
