I think perhaps Lynne M said it best back on page 2 of this thread.. 
But I'll add my .02c here too..
One of the biggest problem reading ANY content on the internet is considering the source and what bias they might have.
That's easy to do when you're reading CNN.COM or a similar editorially controlled source of information... on a public message board - it's nearly impossible to do on a 'per instance' basis. You learn posters "styles" and quirks.... and you learn all this over time.
Having said all that... we can all take a lesson from this and try to emulate the Disney Basics as taught to CM's..
1. I project positive image and energy
2. I am courteous and respectful to all Guests, including Children
3. I stay in character and play my part
4. I go above and beyond..
I remember when I first found the DIS some years ago, I was daunted by the sheer size and volume and I was deeply attracted by the frank and honest discussions that didn't pull any punches for the most part.
Strong opinions typically draw strong reactions... Something to think about.
