No Bag Entry - Each Park

Hi.

Leaving on Monday. Although we plan on being at the parks 45 minutes or so prior to rope drop, can anyone please tell me where the entry for no bags will be for each park please.

Magic Kingdom (is it in the middle?)

Epcot

Animal Kingdom

Not going to HS but maybe it will help others.

the no bag line is for the security check point and is right next to them. at MK and AK, it is in the middle, Epcot is a few steps further down from the bag lines, and at DHS it is literally right next to the bag line.

FYI,at least in my experience,they seem to select more No-Baggers to go through the Metal Detectors percentage-wise than the regular lines.

During the busy times, MK has dedicated scanners for the no bag line, and they are 100%.

That was my observation too. So you will have to empty your pockets before going thru the scanner. Also, at the Animal Kingdom they were sending people with full pockets to the bag check line. Just so you are aware.

They change who they scan all the time, it's not really crowd related. They will also have you go from the no bag line to the bag line if you pull out anything they might want to look inside like a change purse, small camera case or even a phone case that closes. You need to be more than bagless to get through bagless.

I have a big beard and use the no-bags line. My middle name became "Would you please step over here to the metal detector, sir" during our trip. It didn't bother me, though. Going thru the metal detector is still much faster than those bag check lines.

I get pulled so often it actually made me feel less secure after awhile cause they aren't checking anyone else that might have something. At first I was the same way.

I carry two small enclosed bags in my pockets. A zipper pouch for my AP and ID and another that holds a lipstick and mirror. They have never directed me to bag check

You might get asked to empty your pockets if they look overloaded, but not sent through bag check.

I always carry my wallet, cell phone, and a bottle of water with me. I just drop my cell phone in the tray and walk thru the metal detector. That's it. No problems with water bottles before.

I was "selected for additional screening" about half of the time when going thru the No Bag Line. By the time the people in front of me finally emptied their pockets like they were asked to do before going thru the metal detector, I saved no time!
