No availability

Anybody know why there is absolutely no availability at any resort for the week of 2/22/17 through 2/28/17? I know it's a runDisney weekend, but there is nothing from studios to 2 BR when I check on Disney regular reservations.

I noticed this morning that there was very little availability anywhere for the week in June we are looking at as well. I wrote it off as computer problems. POR hasn't had availability since they released the 2017 rates, other than their themed princess rooms. I doubt that is true either. When I go to book, I guess I am going to call.

It sounds like you are looking at villas. Disney only own 2% of the villas. The rest are DVC/timeshare. I am not surprised there are no units for cash rez.

I'm seeing lots of availability now at most resorts. Have you tried checking the website again? (I'm not sure of how many in your party but that may play a part in what's available when you looked).

It was for two of us and I searched all rooms from value to moderate to deluxe. I'm thinking it was a computer issue, I'll check later.

I'm guessing computer issues today. I'm currently trying to book one night at AOA before our 8 day stay at saratoga and I'm stuck at the "who is in your travel party" screen. Even with everything filled in it still won't advance beyond this point.

POR has availability for all room types in 2017. I considered it for our May trip (ended up going with CSR instead). I just went and put in a random week in June and got rates for all types of rooms.

I came here to post the same thing. I need Dec 1-3, and it scared me that NOTHING was available. Is it going to be super busy? We will stay off property since we have a car, but really want to start our Disney vacation at Disney!

Hmmm...I've tried multiple times since the rates have been released. Maybe it's my computer. I should check at work. My dates are 6/15-6/25.

Was wondering of you are are still having a problem. It shows me about 5 or 6 resorts available. But when I click on it no room are available. Contacted disney and they said to clear my browser history and cookies. Still doesn't work. I know I can call and reserve, but I like to physically see and think about what is available.

It could be princess half marathon week and/or mid winter break for some schools that go year around

Mardi Gras is Feb 28. Could be a lot of Louisiana folks booked then.

One other thing to note is that Presiden't Day is 2/20 in 2017 which is somewhat late in the month. It was 2/15 last year. That plus the half marathon being a few days later in the month than prior years has messed up my favorite week to go for 2017!!! Argh!

Trifecta - President's Week, Princess Marathon Weekend, followed immediately by Mardi Gras. Probably a computer issue but I'm sure it will be crazy busy those dates! (I'll be there for the first two mentioned... bring on the crowds!)

Nah, 2/15 is surprisingly early and only happens when the first Monday is the first day of the month. It can fall anywhere from the 15th to the 22nd.

Fair enough. I guess I should rephrase that it's later than it has been the last few years. 2016: 15th; 2015: 16th; 2014: 17th; 2013: 18th; 2012: 20th

President's Day is always the third Monday in February. So it can be anywhere from the 15th (1st is the first Monday of the month) to the 21st (1st if the first Tuesday of the month).
