No availability Vero Oct 2006. Why?

Does anyone know if there is something special going on? I tried to get reservations one year in advance and they say there is no availability.

Members are able to make reservations at their home resort 11 months ahead - so VB owners can now make reservations thru 10/14/06 as of today.

Cash reservations may not be available until DVC has released rooms into the CRO inventory from member exchanges or from the 2-4% owned by DVC directly- but even those won't usually be available until within 11 months of arrival.

DVC members may only mke reservations 11 months prior to the desired check out date.

Assume you are not a member. It is too early for cash reservations to be available for the DVC resorts. Try again in a few months. You may have to wait until at least the 6th month mark.

Thank you. You are correct, we are not members but we stayed there in July. we loved it.

I was gonna guess that they were already planning on next year's hurricanes.
