No availability for Christmas?

I was not able to get a Friday or Saturday night, so we're doing our December trip starting on Sunday. We may stay in the DS area Fri/Sat.

Hi all,
Just floated the idea of going to Disney World over Christmas (I know, crowds are bad, but my family doesn't have the same luxuries as other families of going whenever they want), and I checked resorts and almost all are showing no availability. (would prefer to stay at POP Century) Are they gone for sure? Any advice on what to do?

Keep checking closer to the date. There always are cancellations.

I keep checking to see what might be available for our dates in Dec and things are opening up. But this is my first time planning for a group of 6 so we have fewer option.
