No Appetizer choice for Lunch at CRT?

Just curious if you can choose something or is it just whatever is offered? Is the cheese plate available for lunch? Also, the rice pudding dessert isn't offered on the lunch menu?

Questioning if I should have booked dinner!

I believe the lunch appetizer is pre-plated and all tables receive the same thing. Unless the cheeses are already on the plate, they are probably not yet prepped so it's unlikely you would be able to order it.

As far as the rice pudding, I don't remember seeing it on the dinner menu last December. There were 3 of us and I think we ordered all three choices - mousse, a dessert sampler trio and a sorbet.

The above poster is correct on both accounts. The lunch appetizer is pre-plated, so you likely will not be able to order the cheese plate. It likely will not have been prepared in time for your meal. Of course, it never hurts to ask your server. Disney Cast Members have been known to whip up a little magic for fortunate guests, but I wouldn't expect it.

As for the dessert, I believe the current lunch options include chocolate mousse, cheesecake and sorbet.

... It was a plate to share that had mozzarella, prosciutto I believe, grape tomatoes and little pieces of toast. It also had some sort of spread...it was salty. Not really sure what it was though lol. The dish was much to be desired IMO.

Thanks for the replies! I'll ask and see what happens. Thanks for the pic, I knew I saw it somewhere recently but couldn't find the thread! I'll stick to lunch and hope for the best.
