I moved my family to ASMo for June 14-22, no problem. I then tried to book my friends there for June 16-23 and was told there were no rooms available! I had just booked with the same CM not more than 1 minute before. He said I may have gotten the last room there! :scared1:

I then switched over to POP and got my friends in there. I did look online while he was booking and I questioned him why the web site was still offering me ASMo. He said the web site is not up to date and that I would eventually get a message saying no rooms were available. He said CRO's system is current.

Also, he said there are still no AP codes for after April 16 and they are not even pending. He had no idea when they would come out. At least I am now booked in to a resort I am willing to pay for and I will upgrade if AP codes come out.

I have seen it work both ways, the website kicks you out or lets you book the room. SOmetimes there are "blocks" held for various things (like AAA package sales) and those could come open so you might keep trying if they really want ASMo. Plus people change their mind, upgrade, etc.

I booked AAA rate for June at an All Star resort. It was $99/night. We stayed at Pop last month for $49/night with AP code.

I would rather have a room at rack rate than no room at all. But that's just me! :)

:confused3 I don't know what's going on this year with the code situation, but, my ressie is for May 7-11 and I won't be making any extra payments until I get a code! :guilty: :rolleyes1 :hourglass

I agree 100%!!! That's why I am going to keep making payments so it's not such a HUGE amount all at once.

Codes will come out the day after I make my last payment :)
I have such great luck :rotfl:

Looks like the other pop century resort needs to be built in a hurry. :hourglass

I would definately call back if/when codes are released... I bet there will be some availablity then ;)

The thing is, we have every intention of upgrading if codes do come out. I just wanted to make sure I had a room at a value if codes don't come out. I am not about to pay $149/night to stay at POFQ. I will pay $99 to pay at POP.

Now, come on codes, I really want to split my stay between deluxe and POR.

I think you made the right choice. At least you're guaranteed an onsite room that you can afford regardless of whether codes come out. I would love to see an AP rate for my dates (4/20-4/25) but I went ahead and booked with a AAA discount just in case. I can afford $127/night for CSR but $99/night would make me happier.

I will be spending 3 nights and if rates come out and are good, I will book an extra night! :teeth: However, if not, I stay 3 nights and 4 days ONLY! :confused3

dudspizza: I checked your dates on expedia. They have both standard and preferred view rooms available at All Star Movies (6/16 - 6/23).

Keep in mind that on Expedia rooms can show that aren't really there and you don't know until you get to the credit card acceptance screen!
