i used american express to buy into dvc. i just made my first non dvc ressie for charleston place and ms said they do not take amx. is this new, or will i have to mail a check in. i don't want a credit card, i only like to use charge cards.--(meaning you have to pay in full) anyone have any suggestions?

Each facility outside DVC has its own policies, policies that DVC has no control over. Many hotels, especially outside the US, object to Amex's higher costs, so they either don't accept Amex or work hard to discourage its use.
