No ADR's available for Dinner shows

Hi all, we wanted to go to Mickey's Backyard BBQ and their are no ADR's available during our stay. Probably due to free dining and not scheduling early enough.

Anyway, am I wasting my time rechecking ADR's for dinner shows since you need to buy tickets in advance?

Or is it possible people can cancel like normal ADR's so spots might open up?

I would keep trying - never know when somebody is going to cancel. I was able to get HDDR for our September visit just 2 weeks ago.

Keep trying! I wanted an early ressie for Ohana on our first morning and wasn't able to get it at my 180, however, I was on line checking while on hold to book F&W events and out came the pixie dust! I got my 7:30am ressie on 10/15 like I wanted!

Thanks, I wasn't sure how the dinner shows work. I thought you had to buy the tickets in advance so I doubted many people would be canceling. I'm not sure how it works with free dining (which we aren't doing), if you can just cancel at will or what.

The BBQ is the hardest to get into since it is a limited show - only a few times a week. Hoop De Doo has two shows a day EVERY day and you would have much more luck getting into that one!
