No A/C in Nov?

Hi all, just got back early last week from a trip to WDW. I usually go every year around early November and haven't noticed this problem, but this time around it was so HOT in every attraction we visited.

It was in the high 70s-mid 80s when we were there so the heat wasn't unbearable, but it was warmer inside most attractions than it was outside. Since it was in almost every attraction it didn't seem like a singular problem.

Am I just getting older or is Disney cutting back on the A/C?

Yes they are and not just in November.

Yep. We go every August. This past August, the attractions at WDW were hot inside. The restaurants, the bathrooms even the stores. It definitely seemed to be a property-wide difference.

We went to Universal too and didn't have that problem.

OMG, I just got back on Sunday and I thought the indoor places in the parks were ROASTING! The hotel lobbies, restaurants and lounges too! Glad to know it wasn't my imagination!

I guess I feel a little better that it just wasn't me, but it just feels like one more way to nickel and dime people.

Interesting.

Given the same company put RFID's on every drink cup in order to squeeze a few more cents profit, it wouldn't be surprising if some pencil-pusher pointed out how many millions they could save each year by simply raising the thermostat 10 degrees.

Hmm, I'm a pretty warm natured person and I didn't notice this when I was there in May. Thought it was obviously pretty warm outside so maybe it was still cool enough to be a relief form the heat.

Last week I noticed the rest rooms were warmer than usual. Usually I feel like they kept rest rooms cold, so you wouldn't stay long.

We got home on Monday night and I noticed it as well. I always carry a cardigan with me because I'm cold in the restaurants, but this trip I didn't need to bring it out once.
