Day 3 EPCOT will never be the same!
Crew: DH, DD1, DD2 and me (DW)
Mickey wakes us up right on time up we go and set off to the bus stop. NO ONE is in line for EPCOT. Everyone else is heading off to the MK. Cool our bus arrives and we are the only occupants. We arrive at EPCOT shortly thereafter and head through the line for Princess Breakfast. After they check our name off the list, we head over to the stroller and wheelchair rental.
DH is not walking very well and since EPCOT is so spread out, we figure he better get something he can sit in. At first we were going to get a wheelchair, but he said he would like to try a motorized scooter. Okay, no problem. We rent it and it wont start. Two people come to try to get it started when whats this? Oh, the ON switch! There we go! EPCOT was almost deserted what a pleasure it was to stroll through Future World on the way to the World Showcase. DH was doing just fine in his little scooter top speed it isnt, but this proved to be good transportation for him.
We arrive in Norway with about 2 minutes to spare. DH parks his new mode of transportation and we are taken into the Princesses Breakfast. We have a nice table for four awaiting us at our table is a bowl of fruit and a plate of cinnamon rolls YUM! Our waiter comes and asks us if we want coffee, juice, milk, etc. After he takes our order, he delivers our drinks and a skillet of food scrambled eggs, potatoes (oh, these were GOOD), bacon and sausages.
Today there is a special guest Mary Poppins. Belle is the first character to arrive at our table. She was in her working clothes outfit I thought she might be dressed in her usual Yellow Ball Gown but not for breakfast I guess. After Belle, Jasmine appears ah, this is DH's only reason for attending a Princesses breakfast. After signing DD2s autograph book and taking a picture with her, we of course have to get Jasmine to take a picture with DH! Mary Poppins then comes by all decked out in her white dress, hat, gloves and high heels. Guess shes no where near the chimneys today! Princess Aurora (Sleeping Beauty we had to tell DH) is the last to arrive but spends the most time with DD2.
It was a very enjoyable breakfast and the autograph book is now starting to fill up! Now, if the park is still as secluded as it was when we arrived, then DH wont have any pedestrian accidents with his scooter
