Hi Folks,
When we go to Orlando this July my DD is wanting to buy a Nintendo DS Lite.
Just wondering when we bring it back home are games bought over here compatible with it? :confused3 :confused3 :confused3

About three years ago my dd bought a gameboy in florida and both the games from here and from florida work. I would ask before you buy one from the shops just to make sure.Lots of kids had the ds at the airport when we came back last week, presumably bought for xmas.

Hi

My sons bought their DS' in Orlando and they are able to use UK games without a problem.

The games should be fine it's the chargers that are different due to the usa electricity current not being the same as ours;)

Same with us got two DS's in October, games work fine. You cant use the supplied 110v chargers in the UK without a stepdown, better buy a 110-240v universal charger with the right output power and connections for the DS so that you can charge them here and in the USA (with a travel plug) when you go back (if)

and I have to say what a fantastic little machine they are.
